Terms and Conditions of Limited Warranty

WaterNeeds Company warrants all Monza Pumps, Controllers and other products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship on the date of purchase from WaterNeeds or, authorized distributor for the WaterNeeds Company, to the original purchaser for a period of 12 months, unless stated otherwise for a particular product, under normal and proper installation (by a qualified, licensed personnel), from date of shipment. This warranty is not transferable, and is only offered to the original purchaser. The user shall promptly return the defective item with proof of purchase, at the users’ expense to the WaterNeeds Company, or authorized distributor, to inspect and test. WaterNeeds Company reserves the right to repair or replace items covered by warranty. Any repair or replacement of product offered under this warranty does not extend or renew the warranty period.

 

Limited Liability

WaterNeeds Company will not under any circumstances be liable for special or consequential damages including but not limited to, loss of profits, revenue or good will, any other goods or equipment, or facilities, cost of capital or storage or inspection, cost of substitution equipment, downtime costs, or claims of customers or purchase from such damage. WaterNeeds Company or authorized distributors reserve the right to examine the failed item and reserves the right to be the sole judge as to whether the item is covered under this warranty.

Before utilization or installation, the item should be insured by user / installer and covered with applicable building insurance. Without insurance, WaterNeeds Company would be exempt of any responsibility or duty for any accident such as fire, disaster, short circuit, or any damage.

 

WaterNeeds Company will not be liable for:

              1.Problems resulting from external causes such as accident, abuse, misuse, mishandling, negligence, fire, theft, vandalism, riot, explosion, natural disaster, or other an external causes unrelated to product defect;

              2.Conditions demonstrating misuse, faulty installation, misapplication, extreme environmental conditions beyond those defined in the product specification,
under / over voltage situations, lack of compliance with applicable instructions, improper or inadequate handling, shipping, maintenance, negligence, accident, or tampering;

              3. Incompatibility, improper design, manufacture, installation, operation or maintenance of products not supplied by WaterNeeds Company.

              4. Situations where the product has found to be tampered with, partial or completely disassembled units will not be subject to a warranty claim.

              5. Pumps, Controllers or equipment that have not been installed in accordance with the latest applicable AS/NZS standards;

              6. The quality of the installation of Pump, Controller or other equipment by the installer of this product.

 

Rain Water Tanks

 

 Due to the vast variety of water tanks and colours that WaterNeeds has available, it is possible we do not have your particular model / colour, in-stock and it may require manufacturing, which may take approx. 14 days from the time of order, pending mould rotations.

Refunds for tanks that have gone into production or product has been ordered for are not available. However please contact our friendly staff at the office to see if we may be able to assist with on selling the tank. This is not a guarantee of sale, only assistance where possible.

Rain Water Tank Delivery

 Where a Rain Water Tank Delivery has been purchased or offered by WaterNeeds, delivery is only to the nearest point accessible, to be inside the property boundary or nearest possible closest point. It is not the responsibility of the WaterNeeds Company to place the tank in the actual required Installation position. For tanks larger than 3000L capacity, in addition to the driver, there should be at least one other able bodied person available to assist with the tank unloading, unless otherwise advised. WaterNeeds will contact the customer the day prior to delivery to advise an approximate delivery time where permissible. Should the tank not be immediately installed, it is not the responsibility of the WaterNeeds Company to restrain or secure the tank including theft and or weather conditions. Unless a tank delivery fee has specifically been quoted for a particular purchase, then where offered, the described delivery offer and delivery zone for that particular product, described in the Product Description pertains specifically to that product delivery offer and delivery zone/s. Please contact our office to ensure your delivery is within the designated boundaries of the delivery zone/s.
